Curriculum > I-Project

This project is a part of the one-year Diploma program at DASA, India. This program seeks to improve the awareness, exposure, and network of students which will help bring out the best in them as world-class animators.

As part of the curriculum, all students are required complete a short animated film as part of their course. Along with finishing their film, all students will also be required to prepare a power point presentation. This presentation will highlight their thought process, techniques, style and elements of film making that were used for their project. With their film in hand and the presentation, the entire class will be taken to Bangkok to make a presentation to a panel of animators from Digital Asia Concepts.

The students will also be given a tour of the facility of Digital Asia Concepts, and will get to meet Mr. Shyam Ramanna who will personally distribute prizes to the top three films selected by the panel.

Also, as part of the trip, the class will visit the Bangkok University and learn about their program and interact with their students.

I-PROJECT trip is designed to give great exposure to the students combined with lots of fun. Students are encouraged to make this trip fun-filled and may also extend the trip to see beautiful Thailand.

Students will also participate in a motion-tracking workshop where they will get to use the most advanced technologies such as motion-tracking suit.
